Welcome to Colorado Springs!Answers to Your Burning Questions.
In fact, I imagine that you want an answer to one of the three following questions.
Who Built the Site?I'm Chad. Call me the guilty party. That is me in the maroon shirt up above. I have two jobs. I am a real estate appraiser and I consult for a non profit called Lifeline of Hope. As a real estate appraiser, I have a thorough real world understanding of real estate properties, neighborhoods and real estate agents. My wife is my partner in the site (and everything else). She is a free-lance editor, writer and mom. (Well...she's not a free lance mom.) She is my best friend. Together, we have 3 kids ages 3, 5, and 8. We relocated here from Phoenix seven years ago. We lived up in the mountains for a while, then we moved into Colorado Springs. Which brings us to.... Why Did We Build the Site? When we were contemplating the move from Teller County (the mountains above Colorado Springs), we found that we did not have all the information we needed to plan our move. So, we started gathering together the information. Because I'm a real estate appraiser, I knew a lot about neighborhoods, but I didn't know much about the schools. We didn't really know very much about the parks and the awesome outdoor life possible in Colorado Springs. We decided that we wanted to take all of the information we were putting together and create a website for other people who were in the same situation we were in. At the same time, we wanted to tell other people who might come to visit about just how cool our city is.
How Did You Build the Site?I am not a computer guru. My website and HTML (than language many websites are built from) experience was next to nothing. I don't know anything about SEO (search engine optimization). If I was going to build this website, I needed to discover something more than Colorado Springs. I had to figure out how to build the site. After researching and looking and studying and reading and thinking, I found one company that stands out above the crowd. We found this great program called Site Build It. Site Build It takes the guess work out of building a web site. If you have ever wanted to get online, check Site Build It out. Welcome to Colorado Springs. And thanks for visiting the site. Sincerely, Chad and Teresa Done with the family? Go back to discover more of the city.
